We use premium recyclable aluminum for our Body Wash⁺ collection to reduce our plastic footprint. iota is also Plastic Negative Certified. To offset our footprint, our plastic negative commitment means that for every amount of plastic we create a measured 2x equivalent of plastic waste is recovered and removed from the environment.

This year, as part of our work with rePurpose Global, we have chosen to support Project Neela Sapana in Chennai, India. This first-of-its-kind project entails the recovery and processing of low-value, single-use plastic waste such as multi-laminate plastic (MLP) to stem its flow into our natural ecosystem.

We use FSC Mix paper for 100% of our cartons, which includes FSC-certified material, recycled material and FSC controlled wood.

We adhere to the EU’s standards for safe and clean beauty by formulating without the EU’s prohibited substances list. The fragrances in the Brightening Body Wash⁺ and Clarifying Body Wash⁺ are also EU compliant.

We are Climate Neutral Certified, meaning that we offset our current carbon emissions with carbon and clean energy credits to remove an equivalent amount, and we commit to a documented plan for emission reductions.
